hiatus

hello blog world,
my posts have been few and far between lately,
and after much thought i have decided to take an indefinite hiatus from blogging here.
as of right now, i do not know when or if i will be back, but i won't be deleting the blog, so all the content will still be here.
i have a handful of you set up on my google reader, so i will be keeping in touch!
additionally, i will still be updating my tumblr with little bits of inspiration on a somewhat regular basis. you can visit that by clicking the link below.

i just found out yesterday that mandy moore & ryan adams are engaged.
this makes me excited because i like both of them! especially ryan who is one of my favorite musicians. and i have always had a soft spot for miss moore. she is great.

zooey for oliver peoples pt. II

michelle from cher ami sent me an e-mail to tell me the video for the oliver peoples campaign featuring zooey deschanel is now available! it is so cute. i wouldn't mind owning her first outfit. i may have to find a way to re-create it.
for those of you wondering, the gentleman in the photos was matt costa! what a handsome guy. the video was made by autumn de wilde. gosh i love her.
this makes me excited for bike weather! i am in search of a red bicycle basket. anyone know where i can get one?!

the link for this shop has been floating around for a while now, and i can't help but admire it every time.
a quirky collection of cupcake toppers, pretty baking cups, and adorable cookie cutters, this place is a baker's dream come true. i want to buy one of everything please!

sally scott spring

new sally scott. i love the scarf in the second picture.
it is the time for spring lines, i get excited about this. built by wendy will have her line up in just a few days, and lyell as well! those are my two favorites.

i must admit, i am a little behind the times in the music department. i watched the grammy's tonight, something i've actually never done before, and i would like to say i was surprised by the fact that i didn't know half the artists nominated, but i wasn't! my younger sister likes to make fun of me because i'm fairly young, yet i usually have no idea who is popular in music. i just found out who t.i. was last week! this is a bit embarrassing.
don't get me wrong. i love music, but mostly older music, and i don't listen to the radio (with the exception of some am radio shows), and i don't watch music television.
anyway! after watching the grammy's i found a few songs i really like, this is one of them. i can't stop replaying it and dancing around my bedroom! i love when kanye is whispering in her ear. louise. don't make fun please! tell me it isn't catchy!
